Description:
Responsible for designing, building, and repairing all tooling in-house to support a range of product applications across automotive, electrical, telecom, electronic, and electro-mechanical segments (domestic and international).
Ability to understand complex assemblies and components and convert them into prototype-ready tools while meeting cost and schedule constraints.
Expertise in sheet metal tool, die, jig, and fixture design in alignment with standard tooling structures.
Provide tooling solutions as per production requirements and detailed specifications.
Actively participate in New Product Development (NPD) processes.
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and apply GD&T principles.
Conduct simulations and testing to ensure tooling durability and performance.
Execute cost-effective and efficient production methods for tools and dies.
Review and manage 2D drawings and tooling specifications.
Provide support for First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP, and prototyping.
Skilled in handling DFMEA, PFMEA, and other risk evaluation processes.
Proficient in Auto CAD, Solid works 2025 & 3D Quick process to suit any customer requirements.
