What is Aerospace Tech Pub, in plain words?
Every aircraft ships with thousands of pages of manuals. Maintenance steps. Parts catalogues. Wiring diagrams. Someone has to write and draw them, and they have to be exact. That someone is a Technical Author or Technical Illustrator.
That is Technical Publications, or Tech Pub. It is one of the few aerospace entry points where freshers get hired for what they are trained to do, not just for their marks.
Our course takes you from "what is an AMM?" to writing and illustrating a manual yourself, then checking it on a real aircraft.

Module 1: Tech Pub foundations
- How a Tech Pub project actually runs
- Standards: ATA 100, iSpec 2200, S1000D, ASD-STE100
- Manuals: AMM, CMM, AIPC, SRM, WDM, Engine Manual, ITEM, Service Bulletin
- Reading engineering drawings, 2D and 3D, and BOMs
Module 2: Hands-on training
- Arbortext Editor for authoring
- IsoDraw for technical illustration
- Writing and illustrating manuals yourself
- Validating your manual on a real aircraft
- Interview workshop, corporate etiquette, seminars
Final evaluation: a written test, a B2 level English test, and on-aircraft validation.

No. The course is open only to BE/BTech Aeronautical or Aerospace graduates and AME students.
