Role Overview
The General Manager – Technical & Manufacturing will lead the organization’s engineering, manufacturing, and program execution functions, ensuring world-class delivery of aerospace or high-reliability products.
This executive role is responsible for technical strategy, manufacturing excellence, new product industrialization, and program delivery, while building scalable processes and high-performing engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Define and drive the company’s manufacturing and engineering strategy.
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), product transitions, and industrialization.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as AS9100, IPC, and customer specifications.
Manufacturing Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations including process engineering, tooling, testing, and production.
- Drive improvements in productivity, yield, cost, and delivery performance using Lean and continuous improvement practices.
Program & Customer Management
- Provide executive oversight for complex customer programs and technical deliverables.
- Manage schedule, cost, and quality commitments across programs.
- Act as a senior technical interface with customers and partners.
Team & Organizational Leadership
- Lead and mentor engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams.
- Build strong leadership pipelines and promote a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
Qualifications/Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience
- 15–20 years in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing.
- Proven leadership managing engineering and manufacturing organizations.
- Strong background in Aerospace/Defense wiring harness, PCBA, system integration, manufacturing engineering, and operational excellence.
Preferred
- PMP / Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience working with global aerospace customers and complex manufacturing programs

Reports To: India Director / Head of Operations
Leads: Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Production teams (including managers and senior engineers).
