Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer with hands-on expertise in Autodesk Inventor to develop 3D models, fabrication drawings, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings for industrial projects.

The candidate will work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure design accuracy, compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timely delivery of engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and modify 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
Create duct layouts, sections, supports, and assembly drawings.
Review project specifications, engineering sketches, and technical inputs.
Coordinate with Mechanical and Structural Engineers to ensure proper design integration.
Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering codes, standards, and customer requirements.
Incorporate design modifications based on review comments and project requirements.
Maintain drawing accuracy, quality, and document control procedures.
Ensure timely completion of assigned design deliverables.

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modelling and detailing.
Good understanding of industrial ducting systems.
Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication processes.
Experience in preparing fabrication, assembly, and GA drawings.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications.
Knowledge of engineering drafting standards and drawing practices.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Required Skills

4–7 years of relevant experience in Mechanical Design.
Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor.
Experience in industrial ducting, sheet metal design, and fabrication.
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
