Quick answer: GLOINNT’s Aerospace Technical Publications Training is a 3-month, classroom program in Bengaluru, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It is for BE/BTech graduates in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering and AME (Mechanical or Avionics) candidates. If that is you, jump to the enrolment form. If it is not, read the “who should skip” section so you do not waste your time.
It is 9 PM. You are on a job portal for the fifth time this week. Every aerospace role says “2 years experience.” You have a degree, a fresh résumé and no clue how to get that first line of experience.
Sound familiar? This is exactly the gap Technical Publications training is built to close.

What does a Tech Pub engineer actually do?
Every aircraft needs manuals. Engineers and technicians use them to maintain, repair and inspect the aircraft safely. Someone has to write, illustrate and validate those manuals. That someone is a technical publications professional.
You work with documents like the AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) and IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalogue). You follow global standards. You work with real aircraft data. It is a quiet, steady, well-defined career, and aerospace companies need people who can do it properly.
Who should join this training
- BE/BTech graduates in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering
- AME candidates in Mechanical or Avionics
- Final-year students in these streams who are close to finishing
- Freshers who want to start in the aerospace domain, not switch to unrelated IT jobs
- People who like detail, clear writing and making complex things easy to follow
Who should skip it (honest answer)
We would rather tell you now than after you apply.
- Diploma or ITI candidates. This program is not open to you. Here is the full explanation.
- Other engineering streams such as CSE, ECE or Civil. The course is built for an aerospace or aeronautical background.
- Anyone who cannot attend in person. The training runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in Bengaluru.
- Anyone looking for a guaranteed job. We give placement assistance in the aerospace domain. You still need to clear the interviews.

What you actually learn in 3 months
1. The standards. ATA 100, iSpec 2200, S1000D and ASD-STE100. These are the rules every aerospace manual follows.
2. The manuals. AMM, CMM, AIPC, SRM, WDM, Engine Manual, ITEM and Service Bulletins. You learn what each one is for and how it is built.
3. Engineering drawings. 2D and 3D drawings, BOM and how to read a drawing the way a technical author does.
4. The tools. Arbortext Editor for authoring and IsoDraw for illustrations. You do not just watch. You build manuals yourself.
5. Aircraft validation. You check your manual against a real aircraft. This is the part most freshers never get to do.
6. Soft skills. Corporate etiquette, customer expectations, seminars and an interview workshop.

At the end, you sit a written test, a B2 level English test and an on-aircraft validation. Want the full breakdown? See what is inside the GLOINNT curriculum.
