Technical Writer

Work Location: Chennai

Experience Required: 3+ years

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer is required.
• Hands on experience in Madcap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Word.
• Familiar with STE, MSTP, and other style guides.
• Experienced knowledge of Fire and safety is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of topic-based authoring: single sourcing, content reuse, global projects, conditional text and variables
• Knowledge in reading Engineering drawings: 2D and 3D.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create /develop manuals, procedures, and other documents in accordance with Customer standards and templates.
• Edit and format documents with a high degree of accuracy, speed, and quality within deadlines.
• Ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Coordinate with Peer Tech Writer, Illustrator, Project Lead and Onsite Lead for inputs/feedback/illustrations to complete the task.
