Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Publications Author with strong expertise in S1000D authoring. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating, reviewing, and delivering high-quality technical manuals in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Author, review, and proofread technical manuals as per project requirements.

  • Apply S1000D standards and ensure compliance with BREX rules.

  • Work with DMRL and manage content through CSDB tools.

  • Create, update, and maintain IPD (Illustrated Parts Data).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Utilize XML authoring tools (e.g., Arbortext, FrameMaker, SDL) for content development.

  • Apply XPath/XSLT basics for customization and data management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of S1000D authoring and publishing process.

  • Proficiency in XML-based authoring tools.

  • Understanding of BREX rules and compliance checks.

  • Experience with DMRL and CSDB tools.

  • Exposure to IPD creation and management.

  • Familiarity with XPath/XSLT concepts.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
