Job: Technical Author/Technical Illustrator
Experience: 3+ Years (Diploma 10 years, Bachelor’s 6 to 8 years, master’s 3 to 5 years)

Qualification: Diploma/BE/MTech

Work Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Job Description:

• Create and revise Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), Service Bulletins, and Temporary Revisions for electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Write procedures and functional descriptions by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
• Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards (e.g., ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D), regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA), and internal quality guidelines.
• Familiarity with structured documentation formats such as XML or SGML.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Illustrator, IsoDraw CAD Process, or CorelDRAW for technical illustrations
• Strong knowledge of ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and Simplified Technical English.
• Understanding of S1000D data module structure and CGM/SVG integration for illustrations.
• Experience working with CAD tools like CATIA V5, UG (NX), and SolidWorks to generate accurate visuals.
• More than 50% of work experience in Aviation field
