Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality plumbing and drainage design solutions across commercial, healthcare, and mission-critical datacenter projects.
• Take ownership of defined plumbing design packages and manage mid-to-large projects independently from concept to completion.
• Prepare project schedules, effort estimations, and technical documentation (Design Basis Reports, Specifications, Calculation Reports).
• Lead or support design for water supply, drainage, wastewater, and fire suppression systems, including pipe sizing, flow rates, pressure drops, schematics, layouts, and schedules.
• Maintain and organize project design files, ensuring adherence to company standards and documentation practices.
• Perform plumbing and drainage design within BIM, including MEP coordination, review of deliverables, and team supervision.
• Conduct technical verification and QA checks to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Prepare plumbing calculations, water demand, pump head, pressure drop, stormwater drainage, pipe sizing & routing, riser/schematic drawings, equipment schedules, plumbing fixture schedules, bills of material, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant plumbing codes and standards (IPC, UPC, EN, NFPA, etc.).
• Select fixtures, pipes, and materials for plumbing systems based on project requirements.
• Standardize BIM production workflows with strong quality control processes.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and BIM teams to resolve issues and maintain alignment.
• Ensure timely delivery of work under changing project demands and strict timelines.
• Exhibit problem-solving skills and balance cost and risk while managing projects.
• Interact effectively with clients on-site, manage deliverables, and enforce project quality plans.
• Consistently produce high-quality outputs.
• Stay proficient with discipline-specific design software and design management systems.
• Experienced in Data Center Design projects in Europe & USA.
