Job Description: Travel Consultant (Domestic / International)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Travel Consultant to manage and coordinate both domestic and international travel arrangements for our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the travel industry, excellent communication skills, proficiency in travel booking tools, and a passion for delivering high-quality service. The role requires strong organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capability to make informed decisions in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end domestic and international travel bookings, including flights, trains, and hotel accommodations.

  • Provide travel consultation and itinerary planning tailored to client requirements and preferences.

  • Ensure compliance with company travel policies, budget constraints, and safety protocols.

  • Maintain strong relationships with travel vendors and negotiate competitive rates.

  • Stay updated on domestic and international travel trends, routes, regulations, immigration rules, and current affairs.

  • Assist in resolving travel-related issues and emergencies promptly and proactively.

  • Prepare MIS reports and other travel-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, invoices, and all travel documentation.

  • Utilize tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and maintain professional email communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in domestic and/or international travel planning and coordination.

  • Proven experience working with travel agencies or corporate travel departments.

  • Proficiency in travel booking tools and platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre).

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Customer-centric approach with the ability to work under pressure.

  • Knowledge of travel regulations, immigration requirements, and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post Graduation; IATA certification preferred.

  • Diploma or certification in Travel & Tourism or related field.

  • Familiarity with corporate travel policies and procedures.
