Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in Windchill system administration and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill.
- Experience with server management (Windows/Linux), databases (Oracle/MS SQL), and network protocols.
- Familiarity with CAD integrations (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Leadership experience in managing technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management:
- Design and maintain Windchill server architecture (including clustered environments).
- Oversee system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning.
- System Administration:
- Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics.
- Implement backup and recovery procedures.
- File server Management.
- CAD and office workers
- Support & Troubleshooting:
- Lead technical support for Windchill-related issues (server-side and client-side).
- Coordinate with CAD and PLM teams to resolve integration issues.
- Liaise with software vendors for escalated support and updates.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor Windchill system administrators.
- Allocate resources and manage workload distribution.
- Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure system compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and changes.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in Windchill or related technologies.
- Experience with cloud-based deployments and virtualization (VMware, Azure).
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
