Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Method Engineer with expertise in tooling, manufacturing processes, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will drive process optimization, support industrialization activities, ensure quality compliance, and provide technical guidance to suppliers while maintaining manufacturing data and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize machining, welding, fabrication, and surface treatment processes to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Support suppliers in resolving manufacturing and process-related issues while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Drive industrialization activities, new product introductions, and continuous process improvements.
- Review engineering drawings and identify suitable manufacturing processes, materials, and tooling requirements.
- Manage technical methods, routings, and product data in ERP systems.
- Conduct quality inspections, process audits, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
- Assist in tooling and fixture development and support Design-to-Cost initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, process records, and manufacturing performance reports.
Mandatory Skills
- Experience in Tooling (Machining, Welding, Surface Treatment & Fabrication).
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing Processes and supplier issue resolution.
- Experience in Industrialization and process implementation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and identify manufacturing processes and materials.
- Hands-on experience in Supplier Management.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Processes, Audits, and Continuous Improvement.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to ERP systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
