Role: Technical Author/ Proofreader / Illustrator (SEEXP) – WDM (ASM / AWM / AWL)

Location: Bangalore

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners

Experience: 2 to 5 Years

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation / modification / revision of the manual content for the Airbus Wiring Manuals (ASM / AWM/ AWL) and follow the Impact analysis to create the content to meet the change request.
  • Research extensively and ensure the Airworthiness aspects.
  • Perform the tasks in client environment / tools and update the status in workflow management tools.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to obtain information, resolve problems, and ensure timely reviews.
  • Perform review of work orders completed by Jr. Authors.
  • Perform the Internal and external rejection analysis for every rejection code, discuss in knowledge sharing sessions and ensure prevention of rejections, maintaining quality KPI.
  • Communicate with SMEs for every work order and ensure the quality KPI’s are met.
  • Participate in peer-review and follow the review cycles to ensure the Right First Time.
  • Visualize/create Images, mark-ups, additional information / instruction to Illustrators.
  • Able to Perform Root Cause Analysis for any rejections & take preventive actions.
  • Ability to train newcomers both for technical competence and process adherence.
  • Ability to develop content for knowledge and training sessions.

Skills:

  • Must have knowledge of Airbus Tech Data Process and Worked for SB, MPM, COC, CI criteria.
  • Must have analytical skills to review vendor sources for creating and updating vendor assemblies on AWLx data base.
  • Must Have knowledge of Airbus Tools-Gipsy/GIDOCA/ZAMIZ/IMS/SAP and Illustration Process in SeeXP. etc.
  • Must have Aircraft and Systems Knowledge.
  • Engineering Drawing Tracing Capability.
  • Must have knowledge on WDM AIRBUS authoring guide.
  • Must have knowledge on MS office and adobe.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication.
