Teamcenter Solution Architect

Description:

  • Expertise in developing Teamcenter functional designs and solutioning complex business processes/applications.
  • Ability to transform business requirements into high-level designs and produce functional and technical specifications.
  • Proficient in building functional scenarios using use case, state, and sequence diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of Teamcenter data model, 2T/4T architecture, and Multisite with exposure to AWC/EWI.
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases, including views, indexes, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Siemens industry software practices for managing and migrating MSSQL and Oracle databases for the TC schema.
  • Specialized expertise in designing PLM solutions in Teamcenter and integrated applications.
  • Ability to interpret business issues and recommend best industry practices.
  • Capable of solving complex business problems independently and recommending COTS solutions through due diligence.
  • Oversee software application configurations, prepare, and review test scenarios (unit, integration, performance, acceptance), and data conversions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and execute integrated PLM solutions.
  • Functional understanding of TC-CAD integrations like NX/SWIM/TcAI/IPEM and other third-party web-based applications.
  • Experience in building engineering BOMs and deriving manufacturing BOMs.
  • Proficiency with Teamcenter versions TC 14 and above.
  • Strong functional knowledge of TC Modules: My Teamcenter, Workflow Designer, Structure Manager, Product Configurator, Manufacturing Process Planner, Change Manager, Classification, Report Builder, Query Builder, Access Manager, EP – MBOM Manager, ETO/BTS/CTO Workspaces, PLMXML, TCXML, Stylesheet, and Preference Configurations.
  • Expertise in TC CAD Integrations, especially NX.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases: MSSQL Server and Oracle.
  • Exposure to integrating TcMfg with downstream applications like Rapid Author, EWI, and MES systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with working on Windows 10 Enterprise and Red Hat Linux OS systems.
