RAMS Engineer

Role: RAMS Engineer 

Experience – 2 to 3 years

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore, India

Languages: French (mandatory), English (fluent)

Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related field

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate RAMS requirements throughout system design, development, and qualification phases.

  • Perform and update Preliminary Risk Analyses (PRA) and consolidate Failure Analyses.

  • Conduct reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety studies, ensuring technical validation and compliance.

  • Develop and implement RAMS quantification tools and predictive reliability models.

  • Execute FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis).

  • Prepare reliability and safety reports in line with project and industry standards.

  • Recommend and support corrective and preventive actions to enhance system performance.

  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to maintenance plan definition based on FMEA results.

  • Apply V-Model principles across system engineering activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a RAMS Engineer.

  • Strong understanding of RAMS tools and methodologies (FMEA, FTA, Risk Analysis).

  • Knowledge of V-Model system engineering.

  • Hands-on experience in predictive reliability and safety assessment.

  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.

  • French (mandatory) and English (fluent) communication skills.
