Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Manual & Automation Lead with strong expertise in mobile application testing through UI and API automation. The candidate will lead QA activities, define automation strategies, develop robust automation frameworks using Java and TestNG, and ensure high-quality releases across Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor QA engineers across manual and automation testing.

  • Define and implement the overall QA strategy for mobile applications.

  • Prepare test plans, test estimates, risk assessments, and release-readiness reports.

  • Drive automation adoption and continuously improve test coverage and execution efficiency.

  • Review test cases, automation code, and test results.

  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile UI automation frameworks using Java, TestNG, and Appium.

  • Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end mobile application scenarios.

  • Implement reusable automation components using Page Object Model and framework best practices.

  • Execute tests across Android and iOS devices, emulators, and simulators.

  • Develop API automation using Java and REST Assured.

  • Validate REST APIs for status codes, response payloads, headers, authentication, and business logic.

  • Perform API regression and integration testing.

  • Perform functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

  • Validate applications across different devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.

  • Identify, document, and track defects through the complete defect life cycle.

  • Maintain automation source code using Git and follow branching, PR, and code-review practices.

  • Integrate UI and API automation suites with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

  • Analyze CI/CD automation failures and ensure timely resolution.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 8+ years of QA experience.

  • Strong experience in Mobile Application Testing across Android and iOS.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Appium and Java.

  • Hands-on experience with TestNG and automation framework development.

  • Strong experience in API Automation using REST Assured.

  • Strong knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

  • Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, and authentication mechanisms.

  • Strong understanding of QA processes, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
