Professional & Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing security controls within Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO environments.
- In-depth knowledge of D365 security features, including role-based security, data encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess security risks, identify vulnerabilities, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with security incident response, threat intelligence, and security monitoring tools.
- Ability to stay updated on emerging security trends, technologies, and threats affecting D365 environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Security Architecture Design: Design and implement security architecture for D365 environments, including role-based access controls (RBAC), user provisioning, authentication mechanisms, and data encryption.
- Access Control Management: Manage user access to D365 applications, data, and functionalities based on business roles and responsibilities. Implement segregation of duties (SoD) controls to prevent conflicts of interest and enforce compliance requirements.
- Identity and Authentication Management: Configure and manage identity providers, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions to ensure secure user authentication and authorization within D365.
- Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor D365 environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalous activities. Develop and implement incident response plans to address security incidents promptly and effectively.
- Security Policy Development: Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines for D365 usage, data handling, and access management. Regularly review and update security policies to align with evolving threats and regulatory requirements.
- Security Compliance: Ensure D365 environments comply with relevant regulatory standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and industry-specific regulations. Conduct periodic security audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement remediation measures.
- Security Training and Awareness: Provide security training and awareness programs to D365 users and stakeholders to promote security best practices, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the security of D365 integrations, extensions, and customizations. Evaluate vendor security controls and assess their adherence to contractual security requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation of D365 security configurations, policies, and procedures. Generate regular security reports and metrics to track security posture, incidents, and compliance status.
