Role: Lead Electrical Desigin Engineer – Data centers

Experience: 10+ years (Electrical design engineering with BIM experience)
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
• Lead electrical design efforts for large-scale projects in datacenter, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
• Develop and manage electrical design packages including power distribution, lighting, and systems integration.
• Utilize BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.) to create accurate electrical models and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Supervise and mentor electrical engineers and designers, ensuring high design standards.
• Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to define requirements and deliverables.
• Perform electrical load calculations, energy analysis, and equipment selection.
• Lead BIM workflow implementation to improve coordination and design quality.
• Oversee clash detection and resolution for electrical systems.
• Manage and review electrical design documentation including specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and cost control for electrical design.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and BIM advancements.

Must-Have
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design with a strong portfolio of US and European projects
• Proven expertise in BIM management and integration (Revit, AutoCAD)
• In-depth knowledge of US and European electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, BS, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and electrical design software
• Experience in electrical system calculations, energy modeling, and simulation
• Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects and teams
