Role: Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) Author

Role Overview:

We are looking for a CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) Author with 3 to 8 years of experience in aerospace technical publications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of authoring standards, ability to interpret engineering data, and hands-on experience in preparing and updating CMM documents.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and update Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) as per customer and industry standards.
Interpret engineering drawings, service bulletins, and design data for creating accurate maintenance procedures.
Ensure compliance with international standards such as ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D where applicable.
Work closely with engineering, quality, and customer teams to resolve technical queries.
Perform quality checks and peer reviews to maintain high documentation standards.
Update existing manuals based on engineering changes, modifications, and customer feedback.

Required Skills & Experience

3–8 years of experience in aerospace technical publications with focus on CMM authoring.
Good understanding of ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D standards.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, parts lists, and technical data.
Proficiency in authoring tools such as Arbortext Editor/FrameMaker, or SGML/XML-based tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
