Job Overview
We are looking for a Cloud QA Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to drive quality across cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual and automation testing, API validation, cloud testing, and CI/CD practices. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of designing test strategies, building automation frameworks, and ensuring high-quality releases across distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design test strategies, scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform UI, API, Integration, System, and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
- Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and validation activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites.
- Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
- Perform regression, release validation, and production sanity testing.
- Test deployments across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Methodologies and QA Processes.
- Experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Strong knowledge of Test Design Techniques and Defect Lifecycle Management.
- Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and End-to-End Testing.
- Programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Automation Testing using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- API Testing using Postman and RestAssured.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Git Version Control.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of Microservices Architecture and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Logging and Monitoring Tools.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Performance Testing using JMeter or k6.
- AI-Assisted Testing Tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor.
- Cloud-Native Application Testing.
- DevOps and Release Validation Practices.
- Agile/Scrum Methodology Experience.
