Role : Software Testing Engineer

Educational Qualification: B.Com (Computer), BCA, B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or related field
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through the defect life cycle.
- Understand project requirements and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Conduct different types of testing such as functional, regression, and smoke testing.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards before deployment.
- Maintain test documentation and provide clear reports on testing results.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of manual testing and testing methodologies.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases and test plans.
- Knowledge of bug/defect life cycle.
- Familiarity with GitLab for version control.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of automation testing will be an added advantage.
