Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets across aviation, aerospace, engineering, and defence sectors.

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and emerging markets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, CEOs, Technical Directors, and key stakeholders in government bodies and private enterprises.

  • Lead end-to-end proposal development, including RFP/RFQ responses, technical-commercial negotiations, and contract finalization.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, finance, legal, and delivery teams to ensure alignment of solutions with customer requirements.

  • Represent the organization at industry forums, trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and expand professional networks.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions.

  • Maintain and report on sales pipelines, forecasts, and key business development metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Defence Technology, or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or strategic growth roles within aviation, aerospace, engineering, or defence industries.

  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value, complex deals with long sales cycles.

  • Strong existing network across defence ministries, aerospace OEMs, aviation authorities, PSUs, and engineering organizations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to articulate complex engineering solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
