Role: IPC Author (Airbus Project Experience)
Location: Bangalore
Experience Required: 2 to 10 years (Aerospace Technical Publications Authoring)
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Aeronautical, AME
Notice Period : Immediate to 45 days
Roles and Responsibilities:
Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC)
- Develop and revise IPC data modules as per ATA iSpec 2200 / S1000D specifications for Airbus programs.
- Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and part lists to create detailed and accurate parts information.
- Assign and verify figure numbers, item numbers, part numbers, and nomenclature based on aircraft configuration.
- Coordinate with illustrators to ensure accuracy of exploded views and callouts.
- Manage revision control, effectivity, and configuration management across documentation.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems (Mechanical / Electrical / Avionics).
- Proficiency in ATA iSpec 2200 and/or S1000D authoring standards.
- Hands-on experience with IPC authoring tools
- Good knowledge of part numbering systems, effectivity control, and document configuration.
- Experience working with Airbus environment is preferred.
