Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled FEA Engineer with a strong background in the Automotive Off-road/Heavy Vehicle domain. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural analysis, including seating systems, ROPS analysis, and seatbelt anchorage analysis. Proficiency in advanced simulation tools and a sound understanding of engineering principles are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural and FE analysis, including linear, nonlinear, and explicit analysis.
  • Conduct meshing of complex parts and assemblies with high quality.
  • Execute quality checks independently for analysis deliverables.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams, including design and PV&V groups.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles, theory, and product domain expertise.
  • Contribute to the design and development process by providing analysis-based insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years as an FEA Engineer, preferably in the automotive or off-road vehicle industry.
  • Proficiency in Hypermesh, ANSA, HyperView, Optistruct, Abaqus, and LS DYNA.
  • Strong understanding of FE/Structural Analysis (linear, nonlinear, and explicit).
  • Expertise in meshing and model preparation for complex assemblies.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with diverse engineering teams.
  • Ability to independently handle analysis tasks with minimal supervision.
