Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate (Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil)

Job Description:

  • Applying structural design principles and industrial best design validation practices
  • Performing structural analysis of various airframe structures and techniques,
    • Analysis of metallic and composite structures (Fuselage / Wing / HTVT)Airframe static stress analysis techniques including analytical calculation methods, finite element techniques (FE method), derivation of material and component allowable.
    • Structural analysis with Analytical (Hand-Calculation) and FEM approach.
  • FE model validation and report preparation
  • Various type of analysis (e.g., Linear, Buckling, Dynamic and Frequency Response Analysis).
  • Performing non-linear analysis (Static and Dynamic).
  • Applying engineering fundamentals such as material properties, Free-body diagrams, structural loads, and analysis methods.
  • Utilizing FEM software (e.g., PATRAN/NASTRAN, Hyperworks, Abaqus)
  • Developing standard calculation templates and macros using programming languages (e.g., Python Visual Basic).
  • Helicopter and/or Nacelle experience is added advantage.
  • Compilation of calc results and stress reporting using MS office Tools (e.g., Word, power point, Excel)
  • Experience in utilizing industry CAD systems (e.g., CATIA/ENOVIA) will be added advantage.
