Job Description:
- Applying structural design principles and industrial best design validation practices
- Performing structural analysis of various airframe structures and techniques,
- Analysis of metallic and composite structures (Fuselage / Wing / HTVT)Airframe static stress analysis techniques including analytical calculation methods, finite element techniques (FE method), derivation of material and component allowable.
- Structural analysis with Analytical (Hand-Calculation) and FEM approach.
- FE model validation and report preparation
- Various type of analysis (e.g., Linear, Buckling, Dynamic and Frequency Response Analysis).
- Performing non-linear analysis (Static and Dynamic).
- Applying engineering fundamentals such as material properties, Free-body diagrams, structural loads, and analysis methods.
- Utilizing FEM software (e.g., PATRAN/NASTRAN, Hyperworks, Abaqus)
- Developing standard calculation templates and macros using programming languages (e.g., Python Visual Basic).
- Helicopter and/or Nacelle experience is added advantage.
- Compilation of calc results and stress reporting using MS office Tools (e.g., Word, power point, Excel)
- Experience in utilizing industry CAD systems (e.g., CATIA/ENOVIA) will be added advantage.
