Job Description:
We’re seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer with expertise in Oracle BI tools (OBIEE, OAS) to lead our OBI/OAS Development project and deliver high-quality BI solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of proven experience as a Business Intelligence Application Developer specializing in Oracle BI tools (OBIEE, OAS).
- Deep knowledge of OBIEE features, including RPD modeling, subject areas, report/dashboard development, and administration.
- Hands-on experience with OAS, including migration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Expertise in automated testing tools and development.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks independently.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Experience in the software development lifecycle, preferably with Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the OBI-to-OAS upgrade project, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions using OAS.
- Migrate and optimize existing OBI reports, dashboards, and subject areas for OAS.
- Analyze and enhance RPD models for improved performance and user experience.
- Apply best practices in data modeling to ensure accurate and efficient data representation in OAS.
- Develop templates and reusable components for streamlined report and dashboard creation.
- Create and execute automated testing scenarios to ensure application integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenges during migration, providing ongoing support for OAS users.
- Train users on OAS functionalities and deliver continuous platform improvements.
- Stay updated with advancements in BI technologies and recommend enhancements.
