Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Sr MuleSoft Engineer (Admin) to join our team, responsible for architecting, building, and scaling the middleware infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MuleSoft AnyPoint API Management, MQ, DataPower, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and middleware technologies. As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability of the infrastructure, tuning the runtimes, and supporting the business requirements through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and scale middle-tier infrastructure and applications.
- Setup and support highly available middleware infrastructure.
- Design and implement deployment strategies, including Mule clustering and load balancing.
- Configure API manager and manage API policies.
- Perform runtime tuning of JVM GC and MuleSoft runtimes.
- Enable customer resources through development shadowing.
- Collaborate with Architects, Developers, Project Managers, and other engineers to implement middleware solutions and support business requirements.
- Contribute to key technical direction and strategic decision-making for middleware solutions.
- Utilize best practices and provide recommendations to improve application and system performance.
- Provide BAU (Business As Usual) support including incident and change management.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience with Middleware Technologies, specifically with Mule ESB Middleware administration.
- Strong proficiency in Linux.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and managing runtime servers.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of ESB/middleware components.
- Proven ability to work directly with both technical and business teams.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, IT governance, and operations, as well as an understanding of software and application dependencies.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
